VIP Franchisees Steve and Pam Long celebrate their
10 year anniversary with VIP Bin Cleaning.
First franchisees in UK celebrate
10 years
In 1997 Steve and Pam Long had the difficult
choice of deciding whether they wanted to take the high risk
and life changing decision of becoming the very first franchisees
for VIP Bin Cleaning. That decision was made harder because
not only was VIP Bin Cleaning a new and unproven company but
the concept of wheelie bin cleaning was also new and unproven.
They decided to go with their “gut instinct” and take the plunge
and are now celebrating their tenth anniversary with the Company. They have also
signed their third five-year contract which will commit them to at least 15 years
with VIP!

The success we have enjoyed confirms we made the right decision
all those years ago, commented Steve, and it seems strange
to think it is now 10 years that we have been part of the
business. Those early days in Henlow, Bedfordshire, were
so hard but our efforts and sheer determination to succeed
were matched by VIP and between us we made it happen. We
not only survived but have built a very successful business
for ourselves and our family.”

Pam added: “We are proud to have
been the very first franchisees - it really is incredible what
we have both achieved in 10 years. We never imagined we would
have played such a part in helping VIP become the most well
known name in bin
cleaning around the world.”

were that their first franchisees were Steve and Pam: “They helped us prove
the concept could work and this gave us the foundations and confidence to build
the business to where it is today. I would like to thank Steve and Pam for all
